Giants Rough up Carpenter Again, Even NLCS with 6-1 Win in Game 6
The San Francisco Giants, once down 3-1 in the NLCS have tied the best of seven series with a 6-1 win over the Cardinals in Game 6. Chris Carpenter was hit hard again and lost his second game of this National League Championship Series. Conversely, Giants pitcher Ryan Vogelsong beat Carpenter for the second time in the series. Vogelsong again pitched seven inning and gave up just one run, just like his did in his Game 2 victory.
So it’s a winner take all Game 7 on Monday night in San Francisco. Kyle Lohse pitches for the Cardinals against the Giants Matt Cain. Game 7 coverage begins at 6:00 PM right here on Fox 2 with our “Red October” pre game show.
