(CNN) — What do Thor, Captain America and Batman have in common? (Hint: we’re not talking about their spandex.)

All three characters, along with Iron Man and the Hulk, made the top five guys’ picks in this year’s list of the most in-demand movie-inspired Halloween costumes, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Meanwhile, women picked Catwoman, who was seen this summer in “The Dark Knight Rises,” as their No. 1 costume choice.

Katniss from “The Hunger Games,” Snow White and Queen Ravenna from “Snow White and the Huntsman,” and “The Avengers’ ” Black Widow rounded out the top five choices for the ladies.

The survey, conducted by Fandango, is based on more than 1,000 responses and also includes a “classic” costume category, with favorites such as Dorothy from “The Wizard of Oz” and Indiana Jones.

The rest of the top costume picks are more varied, including heart-of-gold hunks (“Magic Mike”), heart-of-gold princesses (Merida from “Brave”) and super-specific vampires (“Red-Eyed Bella the Vampire”).
