You Paid For it: Veterans Certificate

ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI) – On this You Paid For It the family of a Sunset Hills Navy Veteran calls us when they get too much of a good thing from the Veterans Administration.  Families get a Presidential Memorial Certificate when a Veteran passes away.

This family didn’t just get one but ended up receiving more than 20 of them send on different days.  They were concerned about all the added cost to the Government for the Certificates and the Postage and whether VA had done the same with other families.

We got to the bottom of this deal and reached VA officials in Washington.  They blamed the problem on a computer glitch that caused multiple Certificates to be send to a number of families.
