(KTVI)-Four years ago, St. Louis firefighter Leonard Riggins was on his way home when he stopped to help a car crash victim.  That victim turned out to be a carjacker who shot and killed the a 14-year veteran of the St. Louis Fire Department

To honor his legacy, Riggins’ wife started the S.A.I.L. Foundation. S.A.I.L. stands for Save An Innocent Life.  Its mission is to stop teen violence through scholarships to troubled teens so they stay in school and don’t get involved in destructive behavior.

S.A.I.L. is hosting a bowling fundraiser Sunday, Nov. 4, from 7-11pm, at Dick Weber Lanes in Florissant, MO.
