Update – The voting machine has been re-calibrated. It now functions correctly according to officials.
(YOUTUBE) – A voter in Pennsylvania claims his YouTube video shows his vote being changed from Obama to Romey. The video shows the man using a touch screen voting machine to vote for President Obama. When he clicks the name “Obama” on the machine “Romney” is selected.
According to the YouTube user “CentralPAVote” who uploaded the video he tried to trouble shoot the problem. He says he is a software developer and tried to select other candidate names and test the active areas of the screen. His vote for “Jill Stein” selected properly and the rest of the machine worked with the exception for the vote for president.
YouTube user “CentralPAVote” writes:
“I asked the voters on either side of me if they had any problems and they reported they did not. I then called over a volunteer to have a look at it. She him hawed for a bit then calmly said “It’s nothing to worry about, everything will be OK.” and went back to what she was doing. I then recorded this video.
There is a lot of speculation that the footage is edited. I’m not a video guy, but if it’s possible to prove whether a video has been altered or not, I will GLADLY provide the raw footage to anyone who is willing to do so. The jumping frames are a result of the s#$%! camera app on my Android phone, nothing more.”
So far there is no confirmation that this video was shot on election day or at a polling place.
