KIRKWOOD, MO (KTVI) - The lines formed well before the 6:00 a.m. start time and now voting is underway in the state of Missouri. One of the places seeing lines was Kirkwood High School.
Voters lined up early to take part in the civic duty. Congressman Todd Akin and Senator Clair McCaskill both voted early Tuesday morning.
Voters say they got up early to vote in hopes of beating even longer lines that may form later in the morning and into the afternoon.
