ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Several St. Louis City school buses were delayed Thursday morning after police responded to a police 9-1-1 call at the First Student bus depot.
The call came in around 5:40 a.m. Authorities say someone reported 10 men inside the building and said that several shots had been fired. St. Louis City police blocked several streets but found no evidence of shots fired or any gunmen.
School buses were allowed to leave the lots but some buses ran about 20 minutes behind schedule. St. Louis Public Schools spokesperson Patrick Wallce says if children’s buses are more than 10 minutes late, parents should call the transportation number given to them at the beginning of the school year.
