Fallen Soldiers Names Read In Honor Of Veteran’s Day

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - The Rock Community CERT team participated in a nationwide event to honor fallen soldiers since the Revolutionary War to the present.

"They gave everything for their country and we need to let them know we appreciate them," said CERT team member Michael Roth.

Throughout the country at several locations including Vietnam Wall in Washington DC, Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library in Springfield, IL and Civil War Museum in Pennsylvania. The names of fallen veterans were read.

Lance Corporal James Sperry is the person who came up with the idea for this event. He wanted to help educate the public on today's sacrifices made by military families.
