Caught On Tape: Burglar Takes Off Mask To Cool Off

ST. CHARLES, MO (KTVI)– A burglar broke into four businesses in St. Charles city Sunday night and Monday morning and left behind several battered cash registers, an unopened safe, and a photo of himself.

It seems the crook got overheated while trying to force open a half ton safe and removed his mask to cool off. Surveillance cameras then got his close-up.

On top of that, it turns out one of the cash registers the bandit smashed was unlocked all along.

St. Charles police say no one’s been arrested yet.
