SLU Wins A-10 Soccer Championship

(KTVI)- The Saint Louis University Billikens beat Virginia Commonwealth University 3-0 Sunday to capture the Atlantic 10 soccer title. SLU sophomore forward Kingsley Bryce scored his third game-winning goal of the A-10 Championship. He was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player.

The Billikens earn the A-10′s automatic bid into the NCAA Men’s Soccer Championship. Saint Louis is likely to earn a first-round bye thanks to its 16 wins and #9 ranking.

This is SLU’s second A-10 win. They last won the conference title in 2009.
