ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) — Hostess Brands announced that it will be closing its St. Louis plant and is asking a federal bankruptcy court for permission to close for good. The company blames a strike by bakers protesting a new contract for the change in operations.

The maker of iconic baked goods like Wonder Bread, Twinkies, Ho-Ho’s, Snowballs and many more has gone viral. Many are taking to Twitter, YouTube and Facebook to express their frustration and remember some of their favorite snacks.
