ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-- The holiday travel season's kicked off with the busiest travel days at Lambert expected Wednesday and Sunday after Thanksgiving.
Lambert expects passenger traffic to be up around 8 percent over last Thanksgiving.
And travelers should get to the airport at least 90 minutes before their flight leaves.
The only bad weather in the country is in the Pacific Northwest. So outside of that there shouldn't be any weather delays.
The busiest travel times are between six and eight in the morning around noon and four to 6:30 in the evening.
You can minimize delays by being prepared. Also remember do not bring any Thanksgiving goodies no pies or stuffing or cranberry sauce and no wrapped Christmas presents. Happy flying!
