College Basketball Player Scores 138 Points in One Game

Grinnell College defeated Faith Baptist Bible 179-104 in a high scoring Division III college basketball game on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in Iowa. Among the 179 Grinnell points, Jack Taylor scored 138 points to shatter the NCAA scoring record.

Taylor made made 52 of the 108 shots he took in the game. He made 27 of 71 three point attempts. Taylor also added seven free throws on ten attempts in 36 minutes played.

Rio Grande's Bevo Francis held the NCAA scoring record with 113 points against Hillsdale in 1954.
