ST. CHARLES, MO (KTVI) -Hope you had a great Thanksgiving and got lots of rest because the Christmas season is now upon us. All the characters were out on Historic Main Street in St. Charles Friday and so were the festive lights. The community kicked off its Christmas Traditions holiday celebration.
At the St. Louis Zoo, the annual Wild Lights exhibit kicked off. The Zoo is decked out in holiday lights. Check it out on weekend nights up until Christmas and nightly during the week between Christmas and New Years. There is an admission fee for the Wild Lights exhibit. Don't expect to see too many animals. Most are hunkered down in their habitats, though the penguins are available for viewing.
