Illinois Auctioning Off Unclaimed Property

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Even if you don’t hit the jackpot, you may be able to get some deals from the state of Illinois. The state treasurer is auctioning off unclaimed property that hasn’t been collected in five years. Nearly 1,900 pieces are up for sale.  Right now, the bids are $51  for a set of diamond rings, a Ford Taurus for $380.
