CARLYLE, IL. (KTVI) - For the past 18 months, the Carlyle Christian Church in Carlyle, Illinois has been serving a free, hot lunch to students, teachers and staff at Carlyle High School. The high school does not have a cafeteria, so students either bring a lunch from home or eat out. Pastor Joshua Wolford saw this situation as a unique opportunity to expand his church's ministry. The program started small and has rapidly expanded; the church pays for everything. Watch as a community member says thank you with our $500 Pay It Forward award.
