(KTVI)-The "Journey to Bethlehem” is back at a Harvester, MO church. Now in its 21st year, thousands attend this annual live reenactment of the people, places, and circumstances surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ.

The experience starts inside and then moves outdoors where guides lead families in a journey on a trail from Nazareth to Bethlehem.  Live 'journeys' will depart throughout the evening and take about 45 minutes. Participants should dress for the weather.  You and your family will enjoy free hot cocoa and homemade Christmas cookies at the end.  The entire event is free.

The Journey to Bethlehem happens December 1st and 2nd and again December 8th and 9th at Harvester Christian Church. Journeys start at 5:30pm and run until 9:00pm.  Harvester Christian Church is located at 2950 Kings Crossing in St. Charles.
