Shots Fired After Fight On Washington Avenue Downtown
DOWNTOWN ST. LOUIS (KTVI)-Shots were fired after a fight broke out at a private party on Washington Avenue Saturday night. One person was wounded. The fight occurred at the location of Club Amnesia, formerly Club Lure, in the 1200 block of Washington around 10:30pm. The site had been rented out for a private party.
Club Amnesia has been shut down due to a dispute with the St. Louis liquor commissioner.
After the fight, people left the party. The shooting victim got in his car and was stopped at a red light when someone opened fired shots at his car. A bullet grazed the victim in the head.
The suspect is described as a 16 to 18-year-old male. The incident is under investigation.
