The Billikens survived an upset threat by North Texas and won 67-63 at Chaifetz Arena on Wednesday night. Jordair Jett’s drive and basket broke a 61-61 tie and put the Bills ahead to stay. Both Jett and Cody Ellis each scored 17 points to lead Saint Louis in scoring. For North Texas, they were led by Tony Mitchell, the former Mizzou recruit who scored 18 points.
The victory was the second straight for the Billikens and raises their season record to 5-3.
