Gun Man Robs Casey’s General Store In Godfrey

GODFREY, IL. (KTVI) – Madison County Sheriff’s Deputies are on the lookout for an armed robber.  The robbery occurred Thursday night just before 10:00 pm, at the Casey’s General Store in Godfrey, Illinois off Godfrey Road.

Clerks say a man dressed in a gray suit, blue dress shirt entered the store displayed a handgun and demanded money be placed in a bag.  The suspect fled the scene on foot.
