COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) _ Missouri’s football team will mark a season of transition at its annual team banquet Sunday.
The Tigers had a 5-7 record in their first year in the Southeastern Conference, missing a bowl game for the first time since 2004. Several off-the-field problems emerged, and offensive coordinator David Yost resigned earlier this week after Coach Gary Pinkel vowed he would not make any changes to his staff.
But those struggles will be set aside for the banquet, which is open to the public. The Mizzou Arena event honoring the team’s 18-man senior class begins at 2 p.m., with registration starting one hour earlier.
Tickets cost $40 and include a three-course meal. Call 573-882-0704 or email tsfevents(at)missouri.edu for more information.
