The Fighting Illini got a huge win on Saturday night beating unbeaten and 10th ranked Gonzaga 85-74 in Spokane, Washington. Bradon Paul led the way for Illinois with 35 points that included five 3 point baskets. The Illini trailed by as many as 11 points in the first half, but battled back to tie the game at 41 when Tyler Griffey hit a jumper at the first half buzzer. Illinois then outscored the Zags 44-33 in the 2nd half to get the win. Illinois 13th ranked in the country improves to a perfect 10-0 on the season.
