Family, Friends Hold Vigil For Jerry Brown, Jr.
ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI) – Family and friends gathered Thursday night at Vashon High School for a candle light vigil in memory of Jerry Brown, Jr.
The former Wolverines’ football player was killed in a drunk driving accident last week in Dallas. His teammate, Josh Brent, has been charged in his death. Brent and Brown both played together at Illinois.
Brown was a member of the Dallas Cowboys practice squad at the time.
Visitation for Brown is Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 .m. at Oak Baptist Church, 3040 Hickory Street, St. Louis, MO. 63104. The funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday at Hopewell Church, 915 N. Taylor in St. Louis.
