Ex-Credit Union Employee Pleads Guilty to Embezzlement

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A St. Louis Community Credit Union employee has pleaded guilty to embezzlement.  Jamie Aksew, 36, of Troy, IL pleaded guilty to one felony count of embezzlement from a credit union Monday morning.

Askew embezzled approximately $104,755 between July 2009 and May 2012.  Sentencing is set for March 20, 2013 and Askew could get up to 30 years in prison.
