Man Shows Up At Police Station With Loaded Gun
WENTZVILLE, MO (KTVI) - The same man who fired shots at a barbershop showed up to the Wentzville Police Department with a loaded semi-automatic pistol. Police do not believe he was trying to turn himself in.
Police were looking for a man who fired shots in the All Cuts Barber Shop located at 102 West Pearce Street. Around 11:40am, witnesses say that an African American man was seen leaving the barber shop with a gun. He got into a black sedan and left the area. Police were able to identify the suspect from witness descriptions and began a search of the area.
At 12:10pm, the police say the same black sedan entered the Wentzville police department’s parking lot. Officers were alerted by a police department employee. The suspect was taken into custody. A loaded semi-automatic pistol was recovered.
