Newtown Native Selling Shirts To Raise Money For Victims
NEWTOWN, CT (KTVI)– A Newtown native is selling “I Love Newtown” t-shirts to raise money for the victims in Friday’s school shooting.
Kerin Sovern says she and a group of friends created the t-shirts years ago while attending Newtown High School.
After the shooting, the group decided to revive the shirt and sell it to help the families.
The t-shirts are being sold for $25 online.
Printing companies are donating the materials so all proceeds go to the families in Newtown.
Already close to 300 t-shirts have sold, meaning more than $5,000 for the cause.
