Tigers Win 4th Straight Braggin’ Rights Game over the Illini

(KTVI)-Tigers senior Laurence Bowers scored 23 points in his final Braggin' Rights game to lead Mizzou to an 82-73 win over Illinois. It's Missouri's fourth straight victory in the Braggin' Rights series. Phil Pressey missed his first 15 shots in the game for the Tigers, but led in other ways with 11 assists and 7 rebounds. Pressey finished with 12 points in the win. Alex Oriakhi had a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds.

For the Illini, senior Brandon Paul scored 23 points to lead their scoring. Lafayette alum Tyler Griffey added 14 points, but the senior came up 0 for 4 in his Braggin' Rights history.
