Stubborn Fire Rekindles In Vacant Cahokia Home

CAHOKIA, IL (KTVI) - Firefighters in Cahokia had to battle a stubborn house fire Tuesday morning.  The fire started just before 7 a.m. but rekindled around 10 a.m.

Several fire trucks from East St. Louis responded to the fully-involved house fire on Louise drive Tuesday morning.  The home was vacant and firefighters evacuated because of the risk of collapse. 

There is no word on how the fire started.
