Mizzou holds off Bucknell 66-64

The Missouri Tigers knew they would get a game from Bucknell, a team off to their best start in school history at 13-2. A sold out crowd at Mizzou arena saw a thrilling game as the Tigers held off Bucknell 66-64 on Saturday afternoon.

Phil Pressey known for his assists, used his shooting touch to lead Missouri with a career high 26 points. Laurence Bowers added 16 points in the Tigers win. Bucknell’s All-American Mike Muscala played just like one with 25 points and 14 rebounds, but a late turnover by Muscala in the game’s final seconds wrapped up the win for Mizzou. The win improves Mizzou’s season record to 11-2. They open play in the Southeastern Conference on Tuesday, January 8th when they host Alabama.
