(KTVI)-Former St. Louis Cardinal Lance Berkman‘s career isn’t over just yet. On Saturday, the 37-year-old switch-hitter agreed to a one-year deal worth $10 million with the Texas Rangers. The deal includes a vesting option for 2014.
Berkman is expected to be the Rangers primary designated hitter.
Berkman appeared in just 13 games with the Cardinals in 2012 before undergoing knee surgery. He then appeared in only 19 more after his post All-Star break return.
