Tentative Contract Reached in Litchfield School District

LITCHFIELD, IKL. (KTVI) – Just after 10:30 pm Monday night, the teachers and Litchfield School Board reached at tentative contract agreement after extended negotiation Monday night.  It’s expected the teachers will vote on the contract on Tuesday, at 3:45 pm.

If approved, a threatened strike on Wednesday will be avoided and classes and school activities will go on as planned.

The teachers have been working without a contract since the school year began, with salary being the sticking point.
