Police Find No One Inside Home After Standoff

VELDA CITY, MO. (KTVI) – A police standoff ended overnight, but police were unable to get their man. SWAT Team surrounded the home in the 7100 block of Edison Avenue in Velda City around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.  They were trying to get the armed man to come out because he had reportedly stabbed someone.

The victim walked to the Beverly Hills Police Department for help. Officers finally entered the home overnight but no one was inside.
