(KTVI) - It's a difficult time in the magazine business. Sales are down. Newsweek even left pulp for the digital world. So it takes a real competitor to pitch a new magazine here in Mound City.
An athlete like former major league pitcher Bobby Keppel. He's here to debute "The Nines". The magazine is geared towards St. Louis men ages 25 to 54 and will be on newsstands on January 14.
The magazine will pay close attention to covering and featuring the untapped St. Charles, St. Peters, O'Fallon, Wentzville and Lake St. Louis areas.
