Dave murray’s latest stl forecast and weather disco:

***windy and mild over the region on friday…As southwest winds behind the thursday low pressure sweep in…Colder weather arrives over the weekend…Dropping temps saturday afternoon and just cold on sunday. Concerns about the showers saturday…Mixing with sleet and snow saturday nigh…Especially late saturday night into early sunday…Cold air next week***

Friday:

Partly sunny…Windy and mild
Winds: southwest 15-25 m.P.H.
High: upper 60′s…Some spots touch 70…The record 74 in 1911.

Friday night:

Partly cloudy and mild
Winds: southwest 10-20 m.P.H.
Low: 50 degrees.

Saturday:

Mostly cloudy and turning colder during the day…Warmest will be first thing in the morning…A few showers around…Limited rain
Winds: northwest 10-15 m.P.H.
High: 57 degrees and dropping

Saturday night…Rain showers in the evening…Mixing with sleet late in the evening with sleet and snow lae night…Would not be surprised to see an inch of sleet
Sunday…Mostly cloudy and cold…Hanging around freezing with flurries

The weather disco:

The big southern low…Certainly large in size…But a fizzle with the amounts of rain…We will take anything we can get…But the lack of rain was a surprise with such a dynamic system. Looks like the thing started to fill a little early. Friday…We open up in the southwest flow behind the low lifting to the north/northeast…This will be the king of the thaw on friday…The warmest day of the group with partly sunny skies. This saturday…A strong cold front rolls into town…Looks like it punches by in the morning…So the warmest part of the day will be first thing in the morning…Then dropping temperatures after that…So a slide out of the 50′s, 40′s and into the 30′s…Should be neat to watch. There will some rain showers around on saturday…But i don’t see a lot. Then the front gets stuck over southern sections of the bi-state region and a little wave develops on the front…An interesting forecast situation…That still need a little time to show its face…But right now thinking…Shwoers mixing with mainly sleet in the evening on saturday…Then sleet and snow late night…An interesting set up with the weight of the cold air and warm air hanging aloft. As mentioned up top…Would not be surprise to see and inch of sleet going thru saturday night(more later). Sunday is cold…Some flurries around…Much of next week is cold
