Burglary Suspects Point Car, Gun At Police Officers

WEST ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-Police are looking for burglary suspects who drove their car towards and flashed a gun at officers late Saturday night.  St. Louis Police were responding to a call of a burglary in progress in the 5000 block of Delmar Blvd., near Kingshighway, when they saw a person running form the back to the building. Officers followed the person into the alley where they saw multiple suspects in a black and red Ford Thunderbird.

The officers were shouting orders the people in the car when the driver accelerated and turned the car towards the officers.  A passenger of the vehicle pointed a handgun at the officers. Fearing for their safety, police fired at the suspects as the car accelerated at them. It then fled the scene.

The officers were not injured. It is unknown if any of the people in the car were wounded.

Police continue to investigate.  The suspects are only described as multiple black males.  They are wanted on possible burglary and assault on law enforcement charges.
