Suspects Caught After Attempted Soulard Robbery

SOULARD NEIGHBORHOOD (KTVI)-Police have three suspects in custody after an attempted robbery Friday night in the Soulard neighborhood of St. Louis.  Police say the suspects, two men and a woman, approached a woman at 12th and Russell, near McGurk’s restaurant. One suspect jumped out of a silver Pontiac and tried to steal the woman’s purse.  An officer working security at McGurk’s tried to stop the suspect but the suspect jumped back into the car and drove away.

Police caught the suspects at Broadway and Chippewa after they hit another vehicle.  Nobody was hurt in the crash.
