2 Killed In Kentucky Community College Shooting

HAZARD, KY – (WKYT) – Caitlin Cornett, 20, Jackie Cornett, 53 are dead following a shooting in the Hazard Community and Technical College was parking lot. Police say that the deaths are part of a a domestic situation that spilled out onto the campus.

According to WKYT-TV the 21-year-old Dalton Stidham semi-automatic pistol in the shooting and turned himself in. He has been charged with two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. Police are looking for a second suspect but only Stidham is believed to be the shooter.

Authorities say the incident was in no way connected to the college, other than the fact that it occurred in the parking lot.
