StormFest 2013 – Over 1,000 Attend Weather Seminar
ARNOLD, MO (KTVI) – The third annual StormFest was held on February 9th in Arnold, MO. Over 1,000 people attended the event.
Officials from the National Weather Service, FOX 2 and News 11 meteorologists gave presentations on the Blizzard of 1982, the Good Friday Tornado, New Years Eve Tornado and the devastation in Joplin.
News 11′s John Fuller gave a science lesson for children that demonstrated how rain forms.
NOAA weather radios were suggested as a useful tool to help you keep on top of dangerous weather situations.
The local weather personalities attended a meet and greet after StormFest. They signed autographs for fans and answered individual questions about St. Louis weather.
