NEW ORLEANS, LA. (WVUE) – Five teens were shot Monday about 30 minutes after the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. parade ended, according to FOX8 in New Orleans.
The shooting took place around a store at the intersection of MLK Boulevard and Lasalle Street at about 1:15 p.m. Prior to the shooting, the parade had passed through the same intersection as citizens celebrated the legacy of Dr. King.
The victims were males between 17 and 18 years of age. None of the teens wounds have been found to be life-threatening.
