Former IL Governor To Be Released From Prison

(KTVI) – Former Illinois Governor George Ryan will leave a federal prison in Indiana by the end of the Month.  The 78-year-old has been in prison for six years for funneling state business to associates in return for vacations and gifts.

After prison, he will live at a halfway house in Chicago before being able to return home. Ryan’s wife died of cancer last year.
