HBO Show “Entourage” Gets Movie

(KTVI) – Warner Bros. has officially announced a big-screen adaptation of HBO’s “Entourage.”

The series, which ran from 2004-2011, followed the adventures of Vince (Adrian Grenier) as he tried to make Hollywood fame while dealing with his friend’s lives and his over-the-top agent Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven).

“Entourage” won five Emmy awards during its run, including three for Piven.

The movie will be directed by series creator Doug Ellin and Mark Wahlberg is set to produce.

There is no official release date for the movie.
