When You Eat Affects Your Weight

(KTVI) -  A lot of people had "losing weight" on their New Year's Resolution list. Now we're finding out that losing weight may not be just about what you eat. It's about when you eat your meals as well.

Dr. Richard Covert with SSM DePaul Health Center explains why part of the reason is how your body handles glucose. 

The study found your system is better able to cope with higher glucose, the type of sugar that usually comes from carbohydrates.

Try the following rule: Try to follow the King, Prince, Pauper rule: eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper.
