Police Investigate Overnight Murder

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – St. Louis police are looking for a killer this morning after man with a gunshot wound winds up at a gas station then dies at a hospital.

So far we know that the victim was a 46 year old black man.

But at this point police have not released his identity yet.

This all happened a little before 11pm last night.

Investigators say the victim ran into a Mobil gas station at North Grand and Natural Bridge in north city after he had been shot once in the stomach.

He was rushed by ambulance to a local hospital but died.

Police don`t know where the actual shooting took place—they have no original scene.

They also don`t have any information on a possible suspect or suspects.

There were no other victims.
