My Neighborhood: Maplewood’s Businesses
(KTVI) – Here are some of the businesses we highlighted on FOX 2 News in the Morning.
Pie Oh My: One business that’s hoping to grab its slice of success is “Pie Oh-My” on Sutton. Pies for parties or pies for half pints, whatever kind of slice you’re looking for, apple, banana creme, even a pie with Schlafly’s stout, it’s all home made from scratch.
Tiffany’s Original Diner: If you’re hankering for some good, old fashion diner eats, head to the corner of Sutton and Manchester. It’s where you’ll find Tiffany’s Original Diner. They’ve been slinging hash in the building for 51 years and they’re open 24/7. Tom Grey is the manager.
Vom Fass: Your nose can get a workout along with your feet when you stroll down Manchester Road. Visit Vom Fass.
Penzey’s: Just down the street from Vom Fass is another popular stop for cooks. Penzey’s spices. Penzey’s was part of the rebirth of Maplewood, a national chain and catalog spice business based out of Wawatosa, Wisconsin. Their slogan is “Love to Cook – Cook to Love”.
Deer Creek Center: Deer Creek Center is undergoing a major transformation. It’s bordered by both Hanley and Big Bend and had a downturn in past years. The center is set to reopen later this year with brand new stores including Ross Dress For Less, Buy Buy Baby, Joann Fabrics, Shoe Carnival and Marshalls.
