(KTVI) – The Los Angeles Lakers’ owner, Jerry Buss, died Monday at the age of 79. According to The Washington Post, Buss had been hospitalized for cancer, but died of kidney failure.
Buss has led the franchise to 10 championships since he took ownership in 1979. During his 32 years, the Lakers have become the NBA’s most successful team.
No details about the funeral arrangements have been released.
