Vigil Held For Hit And Run Victim

COLLINSVILLE, IL (KTVI)– Family and friends gathered for a vigil Monday afternoon for Anthony Connors.

His body was found in a ditch on Beltline Road in Collinsville Wednesday night by an off duty police officer.

Police say Connors was hit by a car and killed early in the morning on Sunday, February 10th.

Police are looking for a 2004 to 2008 ford truck or SUV with possible front end damage.

Monday’s vigil was held on Beltline Road where Connors’ body was found.
