Woman Wounded As Shots Ring Out In North City Neighborhood

NORTH ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Shots rang out in the Walnut Park neighborhood in north St. Louis.  Two females, one 22 and the other 17, and a 19 year old male were traveling west on Garesche Avenue when an unknown number of suspects fired several gunshots at their car. The 22 year old was stuck in the right leg.

The suspects then followed the victims and continued to shoot at them.  Some of the gunshots struck a home in the 6000 block of Gareshe. No one was injured.

The wounded female was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.

St. Louis Police continue to investigate.  The suspects are described only as black males. There is no description of their vehicle
