Winter Storm Leaving Snow, Sloppy Wet Weather In Missouri & Illinois

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) -- Update: There will be a real mixed bag across the bi-state on Tuesday. Expect rain with some heavy downpours in eastern Missouri and western Illinois while heavy snow will be the story across western Missouri.

Rain and snow will mix into the afternoon as temperatures drop a bit throughout the day.  Minor snow accumulation in metro St. Louis or the Metro East, but snow totals quickly go up as you travel west.

Winter Weather Advisories are posted for the western and northwestern part of the FOX 2 News viewing area, which includes the counties of Phelps, Gasconade, Montgomery, Pike, Warren, and Lincoln. Accumulations of 2" to 6" are possible is these counties, which include the communities of Rolla, Owensville, Hermann, Montgomery City, Troy, and Bowling Green.
