Driver Injured When Flips On Its Side

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - One person was injured early Wednesday morning after their car left Highway 40.  St. Louis police were on the accident scene in the Central West End at Boyle and Clayton.

Authorities say just after 5:00 a.m., a car traveling on Highway 40 left the highway and ended up on Boyle Avenue and flipped.

The driver suffered minor injuries and was taken away in an ambulance.

North Boyle from Highway 40 was closed while crews cleared the accident.
