Dave murray’s lastest forecast and disco…Thursday…Feb 28, 2013:

***the last day of the month will look and feel like winter once again…Light snow and flurries around…But a non-productive snow…Cold through the weekend***

Thursday:

Cloudy, chilly to cold…Periods of light snow and flurries
Winds: northwest 10-15 m.P.H.
High: 38 degrees

Thursday night:

Clouds with snow flurries
Winds: northwest 5-10 m.P.H.
Low: 28 degrees.

Friday:

Mostly cloudy and cold with some light snow and snow flurries
Winds: west 10-20 m.P.H.
High: 35 degrees

Quiet and cold over the weeke..Another low pressure in play tuesday of next week

The weather disco:

Weather pattern are just about stuck…Not quite a cut-off low pressure…But a low that is really taking its time moving to the east/northeast..As a result we stay in a rather strong north to northwest flow and dropping down in tht flow…Impulses of low pressure and cold front…So we will continue to see periods of light snow and flurries…Thursday, thursday night and friday..A neat, large scale weather pattern….Cold and quiet over the weekend…Below average temps…The next system…Another southern storm awatcher for tuesday and tuesday night…Questions about temps and questions about how much moisture will be running with the system…But worth watching.
